The Centaurs of Summer

Making An Army for Summer

A happy new year to all! My life has been oh so toxic these past few weeks with work. A whole new channel brand design is cooking in the pot and I've found very few time in between to game and tinker with my toys. The few hours I did spend painting were devoted to starting a new HOTT army, one I've dubbed as the Army of Summer. The first few elements are made from Mageknight figures I bought from a fellow Filipino gamer in Cebu. I didn't bother to reprime these but went ahead and painted over the previous paint job. So here are the first few recruits: The elves above will be Shooters. The downside with prepainted minis is that you get very little or no pose variations. I made do with fudging around with the bow directions. These elves however look more savage and with two poses only, I opted for a more "irregular" look. I guess I'll use these as Warbands.
